Sora launched publicly in early 2024, shaking up the entire creative tech space with photorealistic, long-form video generation driven purely by text prompts. Since then it has rapidly matured, becoming a full-spectrum visual engine capable of handling cinematic sequences, character-driven animation, simulated physics, and multi-shot continuity. By 2025, it has become one of the most transformative tools in the creator ecosystem.
Some standout capabilities now include:
- High‑fidelity video generation up to full 1080p sequences with extended duration.
- Advanced scene consistency — characters, camera angles, props, and environments persist across shots.
- Better physical accuracy, from cloth to fluids to dynamic lighting.
- Image‑to‑video workflows, letting creators bring still concepts to life.
- Integrated storyboarding tools and timeline‑aware prompting.
My Sora Profile
I'm building out my own creative experiments and narrative concepts in Sora. Check out my live profile to see what I'm working on:
Character-Driven Workflow with CC4
One of the most exciting aspects of my Sora workflow is using my original characters created in Reallusion Character Creator 4. I design fully rigged 3D characters — complete with custom facial features, clothing, and props — then export reference images or animations to bring into Sora. This lets me maintain consistent character designs across different environments and scenarios, perfect for prototyping game concepts, testing narrative beats, or creating cinematic trailers.
By combining actual 3D character assets with Sora's generative video capabilities, I get the best of both worlds: precise control over character design and the creative freedom to place them in any setting imaginable. It's transforming how I approach pre-visualization and animation workflows.

Workflow Integration
My goal for 2025 is to blend Sora-driven cinematics with my game dev pipelines in Unreal and Unity. The combination of procedural video, AI‑assisted narrative beats, and my existing 3D workflows is already opening up new creative territory — especially for atmospheric trailers, pre‑viz, moodboards, and hybrid interactive-video ideas.
As Sora continues rolling out new experimental features, I'll keep posting updates, breakdowns, and workflow tips. This year is shaping up to be huge for AI‑powered visual storytelling.
