Hey friends - Jenni here.
Back in 2014 I made a little Flash game called Jenni Styles. You picked clothes, the scene changed, and that was mostly it. It was on GameJolt, people played it, and then Flash went away and took it with it. I always wanted to bring it back properly.
This year I rebuilt it from scratch in Unity and WebGL. You play four short scenes - school, the mall, a concert, then a rooftop party - choose the complete look that fits each one, and finish with a recap of your day. Then you can make a lookbook: three photo cards, each with a mood, a frame and a size, saved as a picture you can keep.
You can play the newest build here: playgama.ai/play/xu7l72ezwc. It runs in the browser, on a phone or a laptop, no install.
What I fixed in this build
This one is mostly about how it feels to hold, not new content:
- The lookbook now sits on the concert scene, behind proper glass, instead of a white panel.
- Your three photo cards line up in the album, each with its own Download button.
- A finished lookbook ends with Back to finale, so you are not stuck looking at it.
- The finale fits a laptop screen without cutting off Play again or the sparkle button.
- The little chevrons on the story row are glass now, and you can drag the row anywhere.
What is not ready yet
Two honest notes. The Playgama catalog listing is still in review, so for now the game lives on their sandbox - a public page anyone with the link can play, but not a catalog entry yet. And the older GameMonetize build is still online; You can find it on my new game page if you want to compare.
Visit my 2014 original page to see where this started, or find it on GameJolt: gamejolt.com/games/jennistyles/27896.
Try it and tell me what feels off
Play the four scenes, save a card or two, and tell me what you would change - I read everything. If you make something in the lookbook, I would love to see it. 💜
